Qosmedix Offers Cotton Bags


Qosmedix, Edgewood, NY, is offering 100% cotton drawstring bags as an economical and environmentally-friendly solution for presenting bath salts, soaps, candles, makeup, gift sets and aromatherapy mixtures. The natural-colored pure cotton bags come in 3 x 4 inch and 4 x 6 inch sizes. The bags can be customized with a logo or message via stamping, stenciling or printing. SeaCliff Rolls Out Cap


 SeaCliff Packaging, Newport Beach, CA, is offering a 2 inch diameter dispensing cap, available in a 24/410 neck size. The cap features a seal click that breaks upon first use, ensuring freshness and integrity of the product. The orifice is self-cleaning and has a one-handed press dispense mechanism. Bormioli Rocco Launches Bali


Bali is a low profile container with a heavy-wall, introduced by Italian supplier Bormioli Rocco. The stock bottle comes in 50mL and 100 mL and features a large printing area. Bali can be utilized for both men’s and women’s lines.

PolyOne Introduces  Color Selection CD-ROM


PolyOne Corp., Cleveland, OH, released the new OnColor Color Selection Software, which simplifies the color evaluation and selection process. The new tool enables color selectors and designers to search more than 250 standard PolyOne colorants by resin, hue, FDA status and price.  Color selectors and designers can also request color chips and submit custom matches electronically.  In addition, the CD-ROM provides quick access to pricing information for specific colorants, calculates the cost to color specific parts, and analyzes cost differences depending on colorants, resins and let-down ratios.  The CD-ROM is a companion to PolyOne’s OnColor Catalog, a brochure for PolyOne’s standard colorants, and the online OnColor Catalog Color Selector at www.polyone.com/oncolor/.

Airless Turns Digital


Airlesssytems, Charleval, France, has introduced airless applicator Digital, designed to improve local and efficient application of creams. Its nozzle is lightly rounded for comfortable use. The digital applicator is used for standard piston packs, available in 5mL, 10mL and 15mL.

To Each His Own Pump


Personalization is made easy with dispensing system ModulArt. German supplier Pfeiffer created ModulArt based on mass-customization principles. The system is for viscous products based on standard components. Its single block conception integrates the pump, outer shell, actuator and slider. Clients customize by changing the outer shell. Diamond Introduces New Carton Designs


Combining the strengths of paperboard and plastic, Diamond Packaging, Rochester, NY has introduced Diamondessence folding carton designs aimed at leveraging brand equity and delivering maximum impact on store shelves.
  
Several designs integrate plastic as the primary substrate to provide a three-dimensional view of the product inside. Other designs feature custom die cuts that leverage the primary container’s logo or shape.

Airless Dispenser Launch from Megaplast


German-based Megaplast has launched its new line of airless dispensers called Mezzo. The line features a patented airless system with a piston or pouch system and no metal parts. A Round of Glass Bottles


The Cosmetic Packaging Group, a division of O.BERK, Union, NJ, is offering the Rio Round Line of flint glass bottles in sizes ranging from 15mL through 180mL. There’s a new economical foamer pump on the market, thanks to Arminak & Associates, Duarte, CA. The foamer pump, called the AAF2 Eco Foamer, is a patented foamer pump with an overcap that comes in 43mm neck size. The AAF2 Eco Foamer creates precise dosage of 0.9cc foam output per stroke.

Dow Offers Two New Resins


The Dow Chemical Company, Houston, TX, has commercialized two resins in its family of Inspire Performance Polymers. These propylene-based materials, Inspire117 Performance Polymer and Inspire 404 Performance Polymer, are currently available in North America. Inspire117 Performance Polymer provides blow molders with a balance between strength and clarity. Inspire 404 Performance Polymer offers clarity and stiffness in thermoforming applications. Wilden Group Offers Stylish Airless System
